Nate and his buddy Miles are like two puppies at play: wrestling, chewing, standing, trading buckets, bashing buckets, meandering on all fours, crawling on top of each other... In other words, pure love.
Nate woke up on Sunday night with a violent stomach flu. What is the antidote for a midnight visit to the closest ER? Bubbles. And a very long nap in the morning.
The world's most wonderful dad celebrated the big 4-0 with a trip to the zoo, a homemade chocolate Guinness cake, and a very late night out with friends (with only minor regrets the following morning...)
Nate takes the plunge in Lake Erie on the same Canadian beach where two previous generations of Bergantz/Savage kids learned to swim.
This is a big month. Nate is crawling, climbing, and coming up with new words: "Da" = this is cool. "Emm" = I want my mommy. One glorious morning we woke up to realize that he was still sleeping! There haven't been too many repeats of that one, but steadily he seems to be finding a groove. Nate has started eating "real food" now. We walk to the farmer's market every Saturday morning to pick out something special for the week. Favorites: peaches, squash, peas, and anything with banana.
